Got a patch of space and no idea how to make it green?

I know that garden dreams can feel overwhelming—especially if you're renting, neurodivergent, short on time, or just not sure where to start.

That’s where I can help.

As a qualified horticulturist and landscape designer, Meg offers garden consultations that are thoughtful, inclusive, and designed for you—not a cookie-cutter design.

Whether you’ve got a balcony, a tiny courtyard, or a rental backyard that’s begging for love, I’ll help you create something beautiful, calming, and easy to care for.

What’s included?

Your initial consultation is a relaxed, no-pressure session where I listen, observe, and ask the right questions. I’ll visit your space (within 15km of Preston, VIC) or meet online, depending on what works best for you.

We’ll chat about:

  • What’s working—and what’s not

  • How you want the space to feel (calm? sensory-rich? productive?)

  • Sunlight, soil, and quirks of the space

  • Your capacity, needs, and plant confidence

Consultations take up to 30 minutes for balconies and tiny gardens, and up to one hour for small gardens.

What happens next?

After your consultation, you can choose to keep things simple or dive deeper with an optional package:

  • Consultations are $160 and I can work with what you’ve got or recommend just a few key plants. I’m all about sustainability, re-use, and working within your budget.

  • That’s totally fine. Part of my job is helping you discover what feels right in a non-judgemental way. You don’t need it all planned out—just a little curiosity and a willingness to explore.

  • As a neurodivergent person myself, I understand how to communicate and design with sensory regulation in mind—whether that’s pleasing textures, calming plants, gentle routines, or keeping visual clutter low.

  • Absolutely. This is how I got started with gardening, and I love bringing greenery indoors—especially in small or sensory-friendly ways.
