Where every body and mind can flourish

Co-gardening is the simple act of gardening together. It is about working with nature rather than against it. By sharing our skills, time, and tools, we can nurture a space that brings calm and joy into your life.

This practice is built on the principles of therapeutic horticulture. This means I use gardening as a tool to support your mental, emotional, and physical health. As an Associate Member of Therapeutic Horticulture Australia, my work is evidence-based and centres on your specific needs. By growing things together, we can reduce stress, regulate your senses, and reconnect with the rhythm of the seasons.

Who is this for?

Co-gardening is a supportive way to get outside and learn or improve your gardening skills, especially if you:

  • Struggle with the motivation to start garden tasks alone.

  • Feel overwhelmed by a long list of things to do outdoors.

  • Are knowledgeable gardeners who now require physical help due to age, disability, or injury.

  • Are neurodivergent and benefit from body-doubling to stay focused and calm.

  • If you receive NDIS support, these are the pricing categories available to use for these services:

    • 01_004_0107_1_1 Assistance with Personal Domestic Activities

    • 04_104_0125_6_1 Access Community Social and Rec Activ - Standard - Weekday Daytime

    • 01_019_0120_1_1 House or Yard Maintenance

A note on lived experience

As a neurodivergent person living with hypermobility and chronic pain, I understand that gardening is a wonderful tool for wellbeing but can often feel out of reach.

I offer neuro-affirming and NDIS-approved sessions that meet you exactly where you are. I tailor every visit to how you are feeling on that specific day so that you gain the benefits of being outdoors without putting unnecessary strain on your body.

These are some of the conditions I can work with to provide adaptations:

  • Hypermobility, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome

  • POTS, orthostatic intolerance or other aspects of dysautonomia

  • Arthritis and other joint conditions

  • Dementia

Whether you are a beginner or a confident gardener who just needs a physical hand or a supportive presence, I’m here to help you flourish.
